So talk about a message from the universe!
It all started with the creation of a PowerPoint presentation – part of The Passion Test 1-2-1 courses that I run. I was tweaking the presentation to include some ‘groovy’ pictures for demonstrating about my markers (the things that show up in your life to tell you that you are indeed living your passions).
I found an image of a Ducati motorbike that represented what I used to want when I was a younger man and I also needed an image of the kind of bike I wanted now. I was very particular in my choice – you know you gotta be – and I found the red Ducati Monster picture I wanted and it looked great.

Then I went browsing online for the ‘trike’ image. Yeah I want a trike just like Billy Connelly has. I first saw it on his UK TV series “Billy Connelly’s World Tour of New Zealand” and fell in love with the idea of being “too old to die young” and riding a trike instead of a monster. Safer and still fun, you can also carry your flask and sandwiches on the back seat!
Anyway, I found the perfect picture on a UK website www.boom-trikes.co.uk
And boy what a trike: Big, Yellow and almost the same as Billy’s!
Here it is: It’s called the ‘Fighter X11′.

What do you think?….my wife is not encouraging this particular marker! Thats the great thing about markers as you live your passions, it only matter how you feel when they turn up, not what someone else thinks is okay.
Well I spent a little time dreaming a little, pictured myself sat on the ‘hog’ riding around waving at people I didn’t know, music blaring, feeling the joy and power, wind in my hair, sun on my face …you get the picture.
So with the PowerPoint finished and client’s to present to, I promtly forgot all about the trike. Of course I see it nearly everyday when I deliver the presentation!!!! A small yet crucial matter perhaps.
Now to the present day….about 2 months later. I have a client in the ancient city of Nicosia. Jack, he runs an awesome health and fitness club and he invited me to meet his clients on a ‘get together’ to thank them for their custom and support. I had to do some juggling to fit it in and I nearly didn’t go after I tweaked a hamstring training with some other clients. (I have some local Personal Fitness Training clients.) It was a fun, productive night with many people engaging me to help them find their true passions and as great as that is, it ain’t the good bit.
On the way home I had to make an unexpected detour – I’m still not really familar with the streets in Nicosia and so I decided to just trust that it would be fine. I checked my in car compass (it hangs of the rearview mirror) and saw that I was still heading in the direction I needed to be heading to ultimately get back on the road home. I said to myself “Just trust your instincts and stay open”….
…and then as I approached a roundabout I glimpsed this strange thing parked infront of a showroom. Sat there in all it’s glory – outside – big, yellow and beautiful and I was driving passed it.
“No way, No *%*$! Way. I was shocked at first, then I quickly decided to turnaround and get a closer look.
As I approached I was still sceptical, it couldn’t be the same all the way out here in Cyprus….from Ireland, seriously….nah, this is a joke! Hey no joke here it was, sat before looking for all the world like a stallion daring a rider to just try..

Here she (and me) is….are…whatever.
Okay not 100% the same as the one above but near as damn it and it’s an original Boom!

I had to take the pictures off my phone screen showing the pictures I took of the trike and me in front of the trike…so don’t be complaining about the quality…it’s great!
I looked around – still expecting someone to jump out with a camera to film the look on my face – and then had a crazy thought. “Sit on it” oh my …I had never done that before… Negative thoughts immediately started shouting in my head “it’s not mine, there’s a security camera, the police will catch you”…..Catch me doing what exactly? Taking a seat on an awesome trike sat outside a show room…no law against that as far as I know.
So I did!
Backside into the leather seat, hands on the chopped handle bars, check the wing mirrors, rooooaaaaarrrgh. Was that me? Yep I was making motor bike noises. Who cares? Enjoy it, feel the joy, the wind in your hair, the power…ohh the power!
I felt awesome…how could this be? My trike had found me! My marker had shown up. Granted I don’t own it yet and so what, it’s a hell of a lot closer than when it was in Ireland! It’s one giant leap closer than it was 2 months ago.
So what is the universe telling me?

Why did I accept Jack’s invation to meet his clients? Why the detour? How the hell did “my trike” turn up in Cyprus? More questions than answers and you know I’ve stopped asking and started accepting when you put your intention to “be, do or have” something in your life, then you put your attention on getting it to show up by seeing, feeling and acting as if you already have it and then you just let go knowing it’ll turn up sometime….BANG the universe kicks in. Usually when you least expect it too!
So my friends I would love to hear your thoughts on my little experience (I have many more you know, like that time a purple T-shirt turned up right before a presentation and just when I needed it!…I’ll save that for another time.
So leave a comment, let me know what you think / feel about ‘the weirdest thing’ and I’ll share again soon.
Live with Passion (write your markers and stay open!)

P.s. I found a purple one too…perfect colours for the Passion Man! I wonder?……
